BURIAL INFORMATION
Within its tranquil grounds Manor Park Cemetery & Crematorium can offer numerous burial areas according to personal requirements.
For this reason it is strongly advised that a viewing appointment is made through the main Administration Office. In this way one of our experienced members of staff will be able to guide you through the leafy avenues of the estate to select your perfect location.
Examples of available graves are as follows:
The Children’s private garden
A lush woodland area for natural burials
A public grave area with memorial stones for a short inscription
Private family graves suitable for two burials with an individual headstone
Private lawn graves suitable for two burials with an individual headstone
Burial chambers for 2 burials again with a headstone of choice
For peace of mind it is also possible to reserve grave plots in advance of requirement
The Burial
After burial a temporary grave plaque, or cross is provided for the site. This will remain in position until the dedicated headstone is prepared and ready for installation. At the time of the funeral the floral tributes will be placed on the grave and may continue to be viewed by visiting relatives and friends.
In the case of Lawn Graves the total area will be newly turfed in either Spring time, or Autumn in order to maintain the character of the area.
Should relatives know that they will not be regular visitors to the site, then arrangements can be made with the Administration Office for the grave to be part of a maintenance programme in order to ensure that it is always neat and tidy.
